Located on the edge of this once thriving industrial town. Much reinvestment and regeneration works have been undertaken in Sowerby Bridge culminating in the re-opening of the Rochdale Canal where narrow boats congregate on it's marina. A 84 stall open market, with a vast array of fresh food sold from many of the purpose built huts is operated every Tuesday and Friday..
Saturday is given over to traders dealing in Second-Hand goods. Many charities and private individuals find this an ideal location to raise funds and sell unwanted items.
